Collection:

Civilian Protection Monitor resources

A collection of documents underpinning the Civilian Protection Monitor’s (CPM) analysis of the UK, US, and the Netherlands’ protection-related policies and practices.

CPM is a collaborative partnership between Airwars and PAX. It provides an evaluation system for assessing different states’ policies and practices on preventing, detecting, and responding to civilian harm from their own military action. The analysis is based on publicly accessible sources and addresses five categories: national policy frameworks; civilian harm tracking; investigating civilian harm; transparency; and post-harm response.

Working with Airwars and PAX, Unredacted are hosting the documents underpinning the CPM’s analysis in our Archive. These include government policy documents, NGO reports, media reports, legal frameworks, and FOIA documents.
